They are collected from shopping centres and restaurants by private waste management companies in India, where plastic bottles are used in very large amounts without a plastic bottle system collection system similar to the one in Finland. India has strong expertise in the production of recycled textiles. Every day, we replace some of the ordinary cotton in our products with more sustainable materials, such as certified organic and Fair Trade cotton, recycled materials and linen.
